Baby’s first iPad

Making the rounds on the internet today is this video of a (rather adorable) baby who thinks that magazines are just iPads that don’t work:
Interestingly enough, the video is attracting some strong criticism from people who think this is an example of bad parenting, sporting nearly 1,300 dislikes on YouTube and receiving some harsh feedback on various posts. But why all the negativity? Do we honestly think that the newest generation of kids is not being exposed to technology from infanthood on? After all, these are the Digital Natives we’re talking about here. By the time today’s kids turn two, a full 92% of them have a digital footprint. Perhaps we should stop blaming parents for exposing their children to technology and start realizing that this is the new way of the world, whether everybody agrees with it or not.
And so, to round out this week’s posts, let’s take a look at a bunch of cute babies being exposed to and using technology. Ladies and Gentlemen: the future.
