My point with this article is that many people enjoy both, but prefer to share the highbrow side of their tastes publicly while keeping their more mainstream tastes to themselves. In essence, you've accused me of being a hypocrite because I've admitted to enjoying a wide spectrum of films and, in so doing, you've inadvertently proven exactly what I'm talking about here - that people are afraid to share all of their tastes with others because they will be judged, just as you have judged me as being incapable of understanding the depth of sophistication inherent in something like a Bergman film simply because I get a kick out of watching Jersey Shore. @Vishal
